This is an annual event at our Lexington, North Carolina office.  It all started in 1999 as a way for us to raise money for United Way of Davidson County.  All the monies that we raise through our event is matched dollar for dollar by Williams.
This event was for the first couple of years devoted to cars and trucks.  Then we added motorcycles, tractors and small engines.  It is a time to come and show off you car, trucks, motorcycles, tractors and small engines, but most importantly a time that as a family you can come and have a great time while helping others.  You can make a difference in the lives of others and support a good cause (others).

We are a small group of employees at the Lexington, NC Williams office but a group that works as a team to make this event happen and everything to fall in to place on the day of the show.  Below is a list of employees that work together to make this special day happen:
Jim Raschke, Mike Barron, Buddy Todd, Bonnie Parker, Dale Cowan, Ricky Hutchins, Lee Craver, Danny Foster, Eddie Phillips, Jerry Calvitt, Chad Fritts, Rob McMinn and David Noga.  Each employee has a special part in the event.   Their families and friends also volunteer.  It is all done because they know the needs in the community are great.  So many people have lost their jobs in Davidson County and are hurting.

We have a variety of difference events:
Showing of the cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors and small engines
Vendors (Businesses) setup to show and sale their goods
Yard Sale Vendor Area to sale their goods
Silent Bid Tables Setup with items that you can place bids on
Large shade trees to sit under and share memories and future plans with family and friends.

Some years have started out with rough weathers (Thunderstorms), etc. but nothing has dampened the spirit.  The show will go on come rain or shine.  We are a team at Williams and whatever may we will work together to make sure that the show goes on to help those less fortunate than us.

There are hours, days and months (almost all year long) that go into making our show a success, but without the help of indivduals like you it would not be a success.  To make the show a success with must have your support.  Once one show ends, another show begins for us (at least the planning for another show).  It takes the help of everyone to make it all come together on show day.  It is a time that everyone can come together and make a difference iin many lives.
Will you be a part and help to make this year a success?
